Camera Access: App41 requests access to your device’s camera to enable features such as recording videos for streaming or capturing images for Marketplace listings.

2. How We Use Your Information
We use the collected information for the following purposes:
To Provide and Improve Services: To enable video streaming, Marketplace features, and other core functionalities.
Camera Usage: We use camera access to allow you to record videos for streaming or take photos for Marketplace listings. Any media captured via the camera is used solely for the purpose of sharing within the app as per your instructions.
Personalization: To recommend content or products based on your preferences and activity.
Communication: To send notifications, updates, and support messages.
Safety and Security: To detect and prevent fraud, abuse, or illegal activities, and to ensure compliance with applicable laws.
Analytics: To analyze usage patterns and improve the app’s performance and user experience.


3. How We Share Your Information
We may share your information in the following ways:
With Other Users: Your public profile, videos, comments, and Marketplace listings are visible to other users based on your privacy settings.
With Service Providers: We work with third-party providers, such as Cloudinary (a cloud storage provider), to store and process media content (e.g., videos and images captured via the camera) for app operations.
For Legal Reasons: We may share information to comply with legal obligations, respond to lawful requests, or protect the rights, safety, or property of App41, our users, or the public.
Business Transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of the transaction.
We do not sell your personal information to third parties for marketing purposes.

4. Your Choices and Rights
You have control over your information and how it is used:
Camera Access: You can enable or disable camera access through your device settings. If you deny camera access, features requiring the camera (e.g., video recording or photo uploads) will not function.

Media captured via the camera (e.g., videos or photos) is securely stored using Cloudinary’s infrastructure. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Data Retention
We retain your personal data, including media captured via the camera, as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services.
Transaction records (e.g., Marketplace purchases) are retained for at least 5 years to comply with legal requirements.
If you delete your account, we will remove your personal data within 30 days, except for data we are required to retain for legal purposes.

7. Children’s Privacy
App41 is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we will delete it immediately. 8. International Data Transfers
App41 may process and store your data, including media captured via the camera, outside of Cambodia (e.g., through Cloudinary’s servers). By using App41, you consent to the transfer, processing, and storage of your information in other countries, which may have different data protection laws.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or legal requirements. We will notify you of significant changes by posting the updated policy in the app or via email. The “Last Updated” date at the top of this policy will reflect the most recent changes.
